Two favourite image edited

I decided to edit these images for my front cover main image, i felt they linked well with the idea of an innocent young girl but also leaves a mysterous feel towards the audience. The direct address is used in the bottom image which i think is really effective and with the eye as the main focus with the rest in blur draws attention to the eye. The above image has the character looking slightly above the camera, i think this is a really unique position that she is stood in.
I edited both of these images using Pixlr, the tools on there were great and allowed me to create a good image that linked to the genre of the film. Using the focal tool, contrasting, blurs, vibrance and softener i was able to edit both images to the way i wanted them and made them stand out from the rest of the magazine.

Here is some of the images that i have taken that i want to be used on the front of my film review magazine. I wanted to create the image as an innocent young girl who plays a younger sister but shows the change that is going to happen to her from the horrible spirit that takes over.

Magazine Masthead ideas

This is the different masthead ideas that i come up with. I feel that the bottom right one will be the best title for my magazine that will link to the colour scheme that i am going to use. The effect on it is really good i feel and it will stand out against any background that i use on my magazine.
